Spurs Top Lakers, Take 2-0 Series Lead! [Video]

Tony Parker passes Metta World Peace

Tony Parker passes Metta World Peace on his way to the hoop at the AT&T Center in San Antonio Wednesday night.

”You see Tony tonight and that’s probably the best part of the whole game,” Duncan said. ”He’s getting his rhythm back. He felt good tonight. He shot the ball well tonight. He looked like Tony of midseason tonight and that’s great for us.” – foxsports

T

he San Antonio Spurs took a 2-0 series lead over the LA Lakers after beating them 102-91 last night! Tony Parker led the Spurs with 28 points and seven assists! The Spurs are the staple of consistency, advancing to their 16th straight post-season; picking up four titles along the way! If Kobe were playing it would be a different story, but the third leading scorer in the NBA suffered a horrific injury right before the post-season! The Lakers have to hope for another miracle (as the series shifts to the Staples Center), like they did beating the Rockets in the last game of the season to take the seven seed from them going into the Playoffs! For the Spurs besides Parker who went off in the second half with 24 points, Tim Duncan and Kawhi Leonard pitched in 16 points apiece! The Lakers were pretty much shut down with Dwight Howard and Steve Blake leading the pack with 16 points apiece! Check out the highlight reel on video below!
