obe Bryant collected a season-high 47 points and carried the LA Lakers over the Portland Trailblazers 113-106 last night to keep them in the eight spot in the Playoff hunt! The Lakers (42-37) are now one full game ahead of the Utah Jazz (41-38) in the eight spot in the Western Conference! Kobe finished with 47 points (18-18 FT’s), eight boards and five assists, Pau Gasol had 23 points, seven boards and nine assists, and Dwight Howard added 20 points and 10 boards! Blazers’ Rookie Damian Lillard looked sharp scoring a career-high 38 points to go along with nine assists!
