“Mr. Crittenton and I look forward to proceeding to a jury trial, where the jury will be able to hear and see all of the evidence and reach a lawful, just, and proper verdict of not guilty,” Crittentons’ attorney Brian Steel said Tuesday night, adding that he disputes the notion the ex-NBA player was involved in any gang activity. – nypost

crittenton and Arenas Wizards

Crittenton has a starchy past! He broke out of Georgia Tech a star and was drafted by the LA Lakers in 2007! He also played with the Washington Wizards and Memphis Grizzlies! Things started to get messy when he joined the Washington Wizards and he and Gilbert Arenas (pic above) had a gun bout over a simple card game on a flight! Arenas left four guns by Crittenton’s locker with a note stating “PICK 1,”  and Crittenton pulled his own piece out in the locker room and was suspended 38 games in the 2009-10 season! He also plead guilty to a misdemeanor gun charge on Jan. 25, 2010 and received probation after that!
