Heat Check: Bulls Break Up Heat’s 27-Game Winning Streak!

Bulls bust Lebron James

“It’s one of the best that this league has ever seen,” James said, referring to the streak that began on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 3. “We recognized that and rightfully so.” – nypost

“I believe, and I know, that a lot of my fouls are not basketball plays,” James told reporters afterward. “First of all, Kirk Hinrich in the first quarter basically grabbed me with two hands and brought me to the ground. … And you know, the last one, Taj Gibson was able to collar me around my shoulder and bring me to the ground.

“Those are not basketball plays. It’s been happening all year and I’ve been able to keep my cool. But it is getting to me a little bit.” – nba

he Chicago Bulls broke up history last night breaking up the Miami Heat’s 27-game winning streak with a decisive 101-97 win at the United Center in Chicago! The Heat were just six games shy of beating the all-time winning streak NBA record held by the 1971-72 LA Lakers! Luol Deng led the Bulls with 28 points and seven boards, Carlos Boozer 21 points and 17 boards, Nate Robinson 14 points, and Jimmy Butler emerged with 17 points and the dunk of the night [Video]! For the Heat, Lebron James had a game-high 32 points and seven boards, Bosh had 21 points, and Way of Wade added 18 points and seven boards! The Heat have to be content with their winning streak, and be known that it had to come to an end at some point! Lebron was a good sport about it, but did complain about hard fouls (comments above)!
