Hofstra Player Arrested on Marijuana Possession!

Coombs McDaniel Hofstra

News 12 Long Island reports Hofstra player and U-Conn transfer Jamal Coombs-McDaniel was arrested and charged with a marijuana possession! Coombs-McDaniel was pulled over for driving without a safety belt on Friday morning, when the cops searched him and found five freshly rolled blunts! He faces a criminal possession of marijuana charge and a summons for not wearing a safety belt! It was his second marijuana related charge, as he was dismissed from U-Conn following an arrest for marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia! 6-foot-7 Coombs-McDaniel averaged 5.6 ppg for the Champion U-Conn team in 2011 before getting hit with the charges! It was also Hofstra’s second run in with the law after four key players stole Apple electronics products from the dorms on the Hempstead, LI campus on Dec. 1!
