Jets Sign Raiders’ RB Goodson to a Three-Year Deal!

Kansas City Chiefs v Oakland Raiders

Giants sign free-agent safety Ryan Mundy, Giants re-sign LB Keith Rivers to one-year contract, Giants lose safety Kenny Phillips to Philly

Two days after losing solid running back Shonne Greene to the Titans, the NY Jets picked up RB Mike Goodson on a three-year deal worth $6.9 Million! Now the Jets can get back to a running back tandem with Bilal Powell and Goodson splitting the sets! Goodson offers a fresh look on the running game, coming in as a back-up to DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart for the Panthers from 2009-11 and Darren McFadden for the Raiders last season! Goodson ran for consecutive 100-yard games in 2010 when Williams and Stewart were put on the rack with injuries, and averaged 6.3 yards per carry (221 yards on 35 carries) and one touchdown on short minutes with the Raiders last season! Fresh legs with potential! Check out Giants latest free-agency moves above…
