YG Takes Over Brooklyn’s Knitting Factory [Photo]


The crowd Thursday night at Brooklyn’s Knitting Factory was “all the way turnt” as they eagerly waited for the Bompton rapper to hit the stage. The over energetic host was barely able to keep the crowd hyped as he maneuvered through quite a few opening acts consisting of local and west coast talents. However by the time YG hit the stage, the small intimate venue was packed out and going crazy. The Def Jam artist mainly performed tracks off his latest mixtape Just Re’d Up 2, with DJ Mustard backing him, as well as few tracks from his 2011 mixtape Just Re’d Up, and his 2010 single “Toot it and Boot It”. YG took time out of his set to play Brandy’s “I Wanna Be Down’ for the ladies and covered Drake’s “Started From The Bottom” with the crowd’s great participation. Overall the event was dope, or as they say in Cali “Boommbb”. Check out photos from the event below.
