DJ Style Custom Kicks: Nike LeBron X ‘Tommy Boy’ Customs By Revive [Photo]
*Tommy Boy Entertainment was created in 1981 in a NYC basement for $5,000 by Tommy “Boy” Silverman. It merged with Warner Bros. and brought along mass distribution of underground hip-hop and recognition through its trademark logo in the 1980’s to the 1990’s. Silverman started with his disco news bi-weekly publication later titled (Dance Music Report) that spanned 14 years starting in 1978… hence the dancing man logo.
The first in line out of the “For Promotional Use Only” REVIVE CUSTOMS, Nike LeBron X “Tommy Boy” evokes the true DJ in all of us! These DJ style custom kicks combine the classic Nike Lebron X covered with the vintage “Tommy Boy” logo or nostalgic dancing disco man in black on a white background with maroon red arrows. The brighter red Nike Swoosh and tongue and lip bring out the Heat, maintaining the same colors as the Nike Lebron X and Lebron’s team, the NBA Miami Heat!
