Rodman Becomes “Friends for Life” with North Korean Leader?!
According to a delegation spokesman, HOF Dennis Rodman told North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on Thursday that “You have a friend for life,” as the two sat and watched an exhibition basketball game (in Pyongyang) with players from the US and North Korea mixed on the teams! Although it seems rather unusual to send American Bad Boy for Life Rodman to a country that has provoked the U.N. with unauthorized nuclear testing and rocket launching, it may actually work out! Un is young and a big fan of basketball, inspired by the 1990’s Chicago Bulls, which had Rodman on the team! Un even told Rodman that he hoped the visit would break the ice between US and North Korea, and later invited the Americans to dinner! Un even got the HBO Vice toasted with liquor after dinner; check out tweet below! Rodman originally came over on Monday with three Harlem Globetrotters and an HBO production crew to shoot a series to begin on April 5! Rodman must remember to tread delicately, as the new leader is obviously feeling enpowered with his recent bold moves and can do just about anything at a drop of a hat (pic above)!
Um… so Kim Jong Un just got the #VICEonHBO crew wasted… no really, that happened.
