Warriors-Pacers Engage in HEATED BRAWL, Hibbert Ejected! [Video]

Roy Hibbert David Lee fight

Seriously, I didn’t feel [Curry]. … It’s between David Lee and [Curry] just wanted to get involved. You know, I’m the type of person — I don’t want to start anything with someone that’s smaller than me. If I have somebody my size, you know, we’ll talk it out like men. I don’t take pride in tossing a little guy to the side. […]

To tell you the truth, I’m probably sure I’ll probably have to sit out the next game. But, you know, it is what it is. This team’s very capable. We have each other’s back. And we’re going to get prepared for the Clippers. So I’ll find out in the morning. – yahoo

The Golden State Warriors and the Indiana Pacers engaged in a late game BRAWL tonight, and Roy Hibbert was ejected for initiating the fight with Ex-Knick David Lee and flinging Stephen Curry around like a rag doll in the aftermath! The Pacers ended up winning 108-97 and six technical fouls were handed out from the incident: two to Hibbert, one to Lee, Curry, Pacers’ David West and Warriors’ rookie Klay Thompson! The Pacers were ahead (95-85 with six minutes to go) and after Lee pushed Hibbert to the side on a dead play (seperate foul call), Hibbert reacted and started swinging at Lee! Players started getting the mix, Stephen Curry got in Hibbert’s face, and ended up getting flung to the side! Hibbert said in the post-game comments (above) that he felt bad for flinging Curry, but he shouldn’t have stepped in his face, and also that he expects to be suspended for at least a game for initiating the fight with Lee! Check out the brawl on video below, and a tweet from Warriors coach (ex-Knick) Mark Jackson’s page above! Pon De Replay!
