Danica Patrick Revolutionizes Daytona!
“I would imagine pretty much anyone would be kicking themselves about what they coulda, shoulda have done to give themselves an opportunity to win,” Danica Patrick said. “I think that’s what I was feeling today, was uncertainty as to how I was going to accomplish that.” – nypost
Danica Patrick revolutionized the Daytona 500 “The Great American American Race” on Sunday by becoming the first woman to win the pole, lead the race, and place eighth in the event altogether! She held the third spot in the final lap before Jimmie Johnson swooped in and stole the checkered flag! It was Jimmie Johnson’s second Daytona 500 win, and Dale Earnhardt Jr. placed second! Besides being an inspiration to women as the top female driver in a male-dominated sport, Danica is a spokeswoman for Nascar and a model! She raced Indy cars from 2005-2010 and took Nascar by storm since then! She drives a bright GoDaddy No. 10 car (pic above)! Check out her Nascar post-race comments and her steamy 2009 SI swimsuit shoot on video below!
