Breaking News: Eagles Re-Sign Vick to One-Year Deal!
Breaking News: According to an ESPN source, the Philadelphia Eagles have re-signed quarterback Michael Vick to a one-year deal worth around $10 Million! Now Vick will be a free agent after this season, and can set his sites on the New York Jets, or his next team of choice! The new contract will offset the long-term contract signed with the Eagles in 2011; he was scheduled to make $13.5 Million in 2013 under the $100 Million six-year contract extension signed in 2011! It’s sort of a win-win for both sides, as Vick has been injured for much of his time in Philly, and the Eagles were inevitably going to part ways anyway! At least Vick got some consideration from the big money NFL business and the Eagles, can go to a different team, and the Eagles saved money with the move!
