“Alice and bryan young my aunt and uncle was killed on Monday at 5 am after the super bowl by a drunk driver… We lost some good people they will be missed i love y’all so much..”
Shortly after Super Bowl XLVII on Sunday, San Francisco 49ers’ tight end Delanie Walker’s aunt and uncle were killed in a car wreck outside of New Orleans. Apparently, Alice and Bryan Young of Pomona, Calif. (pic above) stopped on the shoulder of Interstate 10 in St. Charles Parish, when a drunk driver, Nechole Thomas veered off the highway and crashed into them. Thomas, 26, of Houston was arrested on suspicion of vehicular homicide, driving while intoxicated, and reckless operation of a vehicle. It is unfortunate to lose close family that comes to support you at the biggest game of the year, the Super Bowl. Thatsenuff.com offers our condolescences to the family and friends of Delanie Walker and the Youngs. Walker posted a message on twitter today; read it above.
