‘Jersey Joe’ Flacco Named Super Bowl MVP!

Super Bowl MVP QB Joe Flacco was born and raised in Audobon, New Jersey and already made a case for the Pro Football Hall of Fame after his record breaking performance in the Playoffs and the big game on the Sunday! Flacco tied HOF Joe Montana for best performance in the entire Playoffs (chart below)! Flacco completed 22 of 33 passes for 287 yards, three touchdowns, and no picks in the Super Bowl! He straight up outdueled Niners’ QB Colin Kaepernick who completed 16 of 28 passes for 302 yards with one touchdown and one pick! Flacco amazingly hit a 95.1 QBR (in the Super Bowl) compared to Kaepernick who was around the average at 50 QBR (quarterback rating)! The QBR measures not only touchdown to pick ratio, but also big play numbers. Also, Ravens’ RB Ray Rice who ran 59 yards on 20 carries was given a warm homecoming in his hometown of New Rochelle, New York! Jacoby Jones who ran back a record-breaking 108 yards to start the second half, and caught a receiving touchdown fittingly is a Baltimore native!
