Giants’ Victor Cruz Sets Pro-Bowl Record!

Victor Cruz does his signature Salsa dance, as the NFC demolished the AFC at the Pro-Bowl on Sunday.

“Hey, Commish, we’re playing hard,” Watt said as he showed his bloodied finger.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has said the Pro Bowl won’t be played again if play didn’t improve this year. Last year, fans in Hawaii booed as lineman were clearly not trying. On one play in that game, Minnesota defensive end Jared Allen did a barrel roll to switch positions with a teammate.

If players were coasting this time around, it was less obvious. The AFC just played poorly. And fans didn’t boo much – the stands were relatively empty even though the game sold enough tickets to lift a local television blackout. – huffingtonpost

NY Giants WR Victor Cruz, known for his celebratory salsa dance, caught a Pro-Bowl record 10 catches (for 97 yards) and a touchdown on Sunday in Honululu, Hawaii! The NFC took it to the AFC, 62-35, and Minnesota Vikings TE Kyle Rudolph won the MVP award (pic above) with five catches for 122 yards and a touchdown! Giants’ QB Eli Manning completed 16 of 23 passes for 191 yards, two touchdowns and one pick! The Green Bay Packers’ center Jeff Saturday, who will be retiring after the Pro-Bowl, lined up on the AFC side for one snap w/ former teammate Broncos’ QB Peyton Manning! Saturday and (Peyton) Manning played 13 seasons together on the Indianapolis Colts! Texans’ defensive end J.J. Watt got to play wide receiver for a couple snaps in the game as well! NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell indicated that if the Pro Bowl didn’t improve from last year, that he wasn’t going to get rid of it all together! Check out the scenario above!
