Ravens Stun Brady and the Pats to Advance to the Super Bowl!

The Baltimore Ravens, riding on Ray Lewis spirit, delivered one of the most amazing Playoff performances, stunning Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, 28-13, in the AFC Championship game on Sunday night! Of course, Pats’ coach Bill Belicheck was a sore loser, and stiffed CBS in the post-game interview, and CBS Analyst and former Bronco WR Shannon Sharpe ripped into the bitter coach for his no-show! It is all set, Raven’s coach John Harbaugh will take on brother Niners’ coach Jim Harbaugh in the Super (Harbaugh) Bowl in New Orleans in two weeks! It is the first time in 12 years the Ravens will advance to the Super Bowl! Pats’ QB Tom Brady, the winningiest QB in Playoff history (17) came to life in the second quarter bringing the Pat’s to a 13-7 lead going into halftime, but was picked apart and shut down in the second half! The Ravens played with heart and pride, delivered bone-crushing tackles when needed and forced turnovers on the dime, while the Pat’s played with talent, ambiguity and bitterness! The Pat’s were left dumbfounded, victims of an explosive team that played with a high emotion (for Ray) and put it all on the line! Check out Ravens’ LB Terrell Suggs calling the Pats “arrogant f*@kers” postgame on video below!

Statistics: Ravens’ QB Joe Flacco was efficient completing 21 of 36 passes for 240 yards and three touchdowns! Flacco has yet to throw a pick in the post-season! No one player put up in big numbers, but all together the Ravens stacked numbers! WR Anquan Boldin caught two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to give the Ravens the big lead, and RB Ray Rice ran in a touchdown in the second quarter to put the Ravens in the game! Back up RB Bernard Pierce was the X-Factor and tacked on 52 yards rushing on nine attempts for the Ravens! Safety Bernard Pollard delivered the bone-crushing tackle that forced a fumble on Pats’ RB Stevan Ridley and ignited the Ravens defensively! Check out the video of the bone crushing tackle directly below!

For the Patriots, QB Tom Brady completed 29 of 54 passes for 320 yards, one touchdown and two picks! On the running game, RB Stevan Ridley ran for 70 yards on 18 attempts! In terms of passing, TE Wes Welker caught eight catches for 117 yards and one touchdown, TE Aaron Hernandez had nine catches for 83 yards, and WR Brandon Lloyd turned in a solid performance with seven catches for 70 yards!
