Brooklyn Hits Seven-Straight! [Video]

“We gave up 106 points and every one of their percentage numbers is awesome, so we can say we didn’t defend very well,” Nets interim coach P.J. Carlesimo said after the Nets improved to 9-1 since he took over. “But we found a way to win.” – nypost

The Brooklyn Nets have been amazing since the switch of coach, and now a serious contender in the Atlantic East after winning seven-straight games! The Nets (for the most part) dominated the Toronto Raptors, 113-106 on Tuesday night to improve to 23-15 on the season! For only the second time this season the three bigs scored over 20 points: Brook Lopez had 22 points and nine boards, D-Will had 21 points and seven boards, and Joe Johnson dialed in with 21 points, five assists and five boards! Off the bench, Andray Blatche threw in 14 points, while Mirza Teletovic ignited with 10 points and strong defense! For the Raptors, back-up PG Kyle Lowery made it close scoring 21 points in 15 minutes down the stretch! Miraculously, the Nets are now only a half game back from the NY Knicks (23-14)!
