Interim coach P.J. Carlesimo pounds Joe Johnson during Friday night’s game at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

“We’re banged up right now, and we found a way to win,” said Nets interim coach P.J. Carlesimo, who improved to 7-1 since he took over for Avery Johnson two weeks ago. – nypost

The Brooklyn Nets keep winning.. winning.. winning since P.J. Carlesimo took over as interim coach, and last night they extended their win streak to five in a row; beating the Phoenix Suns 99-79! The Nets use a well-balanced attack: Joe Johnson scored 19 points, D-Will got 15, Brook Lopez 13 points and eight boards, Reggie Evans had 15 boards! MarShon Brooks added 17 points, and Andray Blatche finished with 15 points and eight boards off the bench! For bad news, Gerald Wallace fell awkward after only six minutes on the court and still waiting for an update on his condition! With the Knicks slipping, the Nets have been picking it up, and improved to 21-15 with last night’s win! Check out highlights from the game on video below!
