“The goal is to win a lot of games,” said Wilson. “To help my football team win. To help the Seattle Seahawks go where we want to go and we’re not there yet.” – nydailynews
“I think I did put myself at more risk by being out there,” Griffin said about playing most of the game in pain. “But every time you get on the field, you’re putting yourself on the line.” – nydailynews
The Seattle Seahawks, behind RB Marshawn Lynch and rookie QB Russell Wilson, lifted off over the Washington Redskins (and RG3), 24-14 on Sunday evening! Rookie phenom RG3 hobbled through the game on grit, as the Seahawks overcame a 14-0 deficit to beat the Skins, and advanced to the next round of the Playoffs! Amazingly, the Seahawks won their first Playoff road game in 29 years (Dec 31, 1983)! Wilson (who tied Peyton Manning’s rookie record of 26 touchdowns in the regular season) provided the key block to allow Lynch to run in the game-winning 27-yard touchdown early in the fourth quarter! RG3 left the game a short while later after twisting his injured knee (pic above) while picking up a bobbled snap! Lynch was the MVP, rushing for 132 yards on 20 attempts and scoring the one key touchdown! Wilson ran for 67 yards himself, and completed 15 of 26 passes for 187 yards and one touchdown! RG3 was held to 84 yards passing, 21 yards rushing, and threw two touchdowns and one pick! Redskins rookie RB Alfred Morris ran 80 yards on 16 attempts as well!
