Kings ‘J.R. Smithed’ Knicks Incredible Comeback!

“We fought back tremendously in the second half,” Smith said. “I wish we could have turned the switch on earlier instead of turning it on too late.” – nypost

The Sacramento Kings ‘J.R. Smithed’ or other words hit the last second buzzer-beater to beat the NY Knicks 106-105 last night! The Knicks incredibly came back from 27 points behind! From that point late in the second quarter, the Knicks outscored the Kings 55-35, but James Johnson snub nosed the Knicks with the last second buzzer-beater! J.R. Smith hit a season-high 28 points for the Knicks and Chris Copeland added 23 points off the bench! Tyson Chandler got 21 points and 16 boards, and Jason Kidd finished with a solid 16 points! Melo was out of the lineup. It would have been one of the most incredible comebacks in NBA history, but instead the Knicks will have to settle for a E for Effort and a lesson learned!

Former Assistant coach and current interim coach P.J. Carlesimo talks to Deron Williams on the sideline at Friday night’s game at the Barclays Center.

The Brooklyn Nets blew out the Charlotte Bobcats, 97-81 at the Barclays in Brooklyn last night! It was P.J. Carlesimo coaching debut, and the Nets sure showed out! The ‘Cats now have dropped 17 straight! Brook Lopez scored 26 points, D-Will had 19 points, Joe Johnson threw in 16 points, and Reggie Evans snagged 13 boards! Good look for the Nets after suddenly losing their head coach Avery Johnson on Thursday!
