The Source Magazine Names Miguel’s ‘Kaleidoscope Dream’ R&B Album Of The Year

Ranking number 1 on the US Top R&B/HipHop Album Charts, Miguel’s second debut album Kaleidoscope Dream has received rave reviews from music critics including The Source Magazine, who has named Miguel’s album R&B Album of the year!

The biggest argument against Miguel is that he hasn’t been able to shake the “All I Want Is You” single. Well, that topic of conversation can be put to rest now that Miguel has delivered a standout project with his sophomore effort, Kaleidoscope Dream. The project was released in its own unique way of three parts. First, an EP titled Kaleidoscope Dream: The Water Preview, followed by the second EP, Kaleidoscope Dream: The Air Preview, and lastly, the final album which included all 6-tracks from the prior releases along with five brand new tracks. The year’s biggest R&B standout is arguably “Adorn,” which spawned various unofficial remixes and over 10 million views on Youtube.

Kaleidoscope Dream has also been nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Urban Contemporary Album, set to be presented at the 2013 Grammy Awards. “Adorn” was nominated for Best R&B Performance, Best R&B Song, and Song of the Year.
