Giants Embarassed by the Falcons!

Giants WR Hakeem Nicks and QB Eli Manning look on in disgust, as the Falcons crush them on Sunday afternoon.

Newtown Conn. Shooting felt by Giants squad, Victor Cruz honors Newtown victim and fan, Full NFL Week 15 Scoreboard

The NY Giants were straight up embarassed by the Atlanta Falcons, 34-0 yesterday! In fact, the Giants suffered the worst shut-out loss ever by a defending Super Bowl champion (chart below) in NFL history, and first shut-out loss since 1996! Eli was off-ful throwing no touchdowns and two picks, and the Giants running game was sub-par combining for 97 yards on 21 attempts! The Falcons doubled the time of possession, and were much more efficient with the football! The Giants had high hopes coming off a 52-27 romping over the New Orleans Saints on MNF last week, but to soften the blow the Falcons were the favorite with a better record going into the game! The Falcons improved to (12-2), while the Giants dropped to (8-6)! The Washington Redskins win over the Cleveland Browns w/o RG3, and the Dallas Cowboys heroic win over the Pittsburgh Steelers put all three teams in a lock for the lead in the NFC East with only two weeks (games) left in the regular season!
