Adrian Peterson Chases NFL Rushing Record!

Without a doubt, Minnesota Vikings RB, Adrian Peterson is on his way to Canton, but will he break Eric Dickerson’s single-season rushing record is the question?! Peterson has two games; he needs just 188 yards rushing to become the seventh player to break the 2,000 yard mark in a single-season rushing, and 293 yards to tie Eric Dickerson’s single-season rushing record of 2,105 yards! Eric Dickerson rushed for 2,105 yards in 1984 for the LA Rams! The most amazing thing is Peterson is coming off a torn ACL surgery from a year ago, and seems to be even better than before!

Peterson exploded with a career-high 82 yard run for a TD (video above) followed up by 52-yard run; all in all 212 yards rushing yesterday! The Vikings cruised to a 36-22 win over the St. Louis Rams and improved to (8-6), tied for the Bears, and fighting for a playoff spot!
