Knicks Hit Big Buzzer-Beater over Bobcats! [Video]

The Knicks team crowds around J.R. Smith (center) after he hit a big buzzer-beater on Wednesday night.

“It was unbelievable,’’ said Smith, who finished with 13 points on 6-of-16 shooting (1 of 9 from 3-point land). “This is my first game-winner I’ve ever had. I knew the move I wanted to go to. My step-back, it was just a matter of getting there. Fortunately he fell for it and I got it off, but he did a great job contesting it.’’ – nydailynews

Just when the Knicks were starting to look down-and-out (in the game), J.R. Smith came through with the huge buzzer-beater to beat the Charlotte Bobcats, 100-98 last night! Smith was shooting bricks (6-16), but the team still believed in him, and he made the last-second shot count! Melo had a game-high 23 points, Tyson Chandler turned in 18 points and 17 boards, and Raymond Felton had 17 points and nine assists! For the Cats, Bronx-native Kemba Walker had 25 points and 11 dimes! The win was big for the Knicks because now they are in first place (13-4) for the entire Eastern Conference!
