Nets shine in Brooklyn debut! [Photo Gallery]

Joe Johnson grabs Deron Williams to calm him down during their Brooklyn debut on Saturday night.

In front of sold-out crowd the brand new Brooklyn Nets took it to the Toronto Raptors, 107-100 on Saturday night! The Barclays Center was in full effect, fans were ecstatic, and part owner rap-mogul Jay-Z (and Beyonce) were in the house! Now Brooklyn has something to cheer about; the last team in Brooklyn was the Dodgers who left for L.A. in 1957! In terms of play, Brook Lopez led the Nets with 27 points and Deron Williams AKA D-Will had 19 points and nine dimes! Reggie Evans snatched 13 boards in 16 minutes on the floor and Joe Johnson added 14 points in his Nets debut! The only problem I see down the road for Brooklyn is in their passing game; their only real good passer is D-Will!
