Knicks blaze Heat in home opener!

Melo put up a solid performance as a inspiration to NY sports fan in the wake of Hurricane Sandy.

By the time the third quarter hit, the Knicks had a 20-point lead and Lebron and Wade were bickering back and forth! The Knicks went on to trump the South Beach champs, 104-84 last night, behind Melo‘s fabulous performance (30 points and 10 boards)! The Knicks used this game as a little inspiration for NY in the aftermath of Sandy (video below)! Raymond Felton scored 14 points and nine assists in his Knicks debut, and Steve Novak lit up the Heat with five three’s for 17 points! The Knicks beat the Heat by limiting their shot attempts, distributing the ball well (26 assists), and scoring with a variety of players. Check out the highlight video from the game below!
