Knicks-Nets Home Opener postponed!

The Knicks-Nets Home Opener at the brand new Barclays Center has been postponed! The game has been switched from tonight (Thursday, Nov. 1) to a later (unannounced) date due to the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. Mass transit is still getting back in order after getting significant sea water in the tunnels and almost the entire city lost electricity (Con Edison). Knicks’ Amare (Stoudemire) even had his Range Rover submerged in water [Photo]! The NY Knicks will now have their season opener at MSG against the defending Champion Miami Heat (Friday, Nov. 2, 8PM on MSG/ESPN), and the Brooklyn Nets home opener will be against the Toronto Raptors (Saturday, Nov. 3, 7:30PM on YES)!
