Meek Mill Talks How Jail Changed Him [Video]

In this episode with XXL’s Shaheem Reid, Meek Mill talks about how jail changed his outlook on life, made his focus on rap stronger and how it’s incorporated into Dreams & Nightmares, which drops on October 30.

“Before I went to jail, I used to be a slouch,” the Philly rapper admits. “I used to smoke weed; things like that. Get high, hang on corners, play with guns—do a lot of dumb stuff. It took me to sit down in jail one time and use my brain and think. That’s the best thing jail did for me.”
