C.C. leads Yankees to AL Championship Series!

C.C. Sabathia is doused with champagne after leading the Yankees to the ALDS Championship with flawless pitching.

C.C. Sabathia pitched a flawless complete game (nine innings pitched, nine strikeouts, four hits, two walks, and one earned run) and Raul Ibanez, who replaced ice cold A-Rod, put the first run on the board to lead the NY Yankees to a 3-1 ALDS clinching victory (over the Baltimore Orioles), last night! Curtis Granderson broke out of his slump and nailed a solo HR, and Ichiro Suzuki got the game-winning RBI double that drove in Derek Jeter! The Yankees now look to the Detroit Tigers in the best-of-seven ALCS (American League Championship Series)! The Tigers ousted the Yankees in the ALDS last season, so let’s see how it plays out this time!
