Yankees clinch Playoff spot!

The NY Yankees clinched a playoff spot with a big win on Sunday! They were on their heels, and mounted a come back late in the game! The Yankees were down 5-2 going into the seventh inning. Ichiro Suzuki started off with an RBI sac-fly, Robinson Cano followed with a huge RBI double, and A-Rod scored the game-tying run on wild pitch! The Yankees continued to score in the eighth and ninth inning on a Derek Jeter RBI single, and a Curtis Granderson two-RBI single! In the end the Yankees won decidedly 9-6 (over the Toronto Blue Jays), and clinched a Playoff spot in the process! Go New-York-Yankees!

The Yankees will finish (the regular season) with a three-game homestand in the Bronx starting tonight; taking on rival Boston Red Sox!
