Week 1 Full NFL Scoreboard

East Rutherford, NJ: The NY Jets lit up the Buffalo Bills 48-28 in their home opener at MetLife stadium, yesterday! They broke the franchise record for points scored on an opening day game, and QB Mark Sanchez looked sharp! Sanchez completed 19 of 27 passes for 266 yards; threw for three TDs and one pick! Tim Tebow was a non-factor, but the other team’s preparation for the wildcat seems to open it up for Sanchez. Antonio Cromartie caught an interception and ran it back 40 yards for a TD, and Darrelle Revis (caught an interception) was a hot corner as well! Jets’ WR Stephen Hill caught two TD passes, and WR Jeremy Kerley (pic above) caught one TD pass, and ran in a 68-yard punt return for a TD! Jets’ WR Santonio Holmes had some big catches throughout the game as well. Sanchez showed some strength improvement in his arm, and the Jets stopped the Bills late rally dead in its tracks!

Denver Broncos’ QB Peyton Manning became the third quarterback (of all-time) to reach the elite 400 TDs! Manning and the Bronco’s rallied in the second half to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers, 31-19 last night! He connected with WR Demaryius Thomas on a 71-yard TD pass early in the third quarter for his 400th career TD! Manning threw his 401 career TD in the fourth quarter on a short pass to TE Jacob Tamme, which put away the Steelers late in the game! He became the quickest to reach the 400-TD milestone (209 games) ahead of Dan Marino (227 games) and Brett Favre (228 games)! Check out the 400-TD club chart below!
