#AmazinMetPerfectDebut The ‘Amazin Mets dialed up P Matt Harvey to pitch (for his debut), last night! #Harvey pitched phenominally giving up no runs, while striking out 11 batter in 5 1/3 innings pitched. He broke Tom Seaver’s and Bill Denehy’s franchise record for most strikeouts in a major league debut, and also became the first Mets pitcher since David West on Sept. 24, 1988 to record two hits (single, double) in his first ML appearance!
