Melo drives hard on #Spain Serge Ibaka and Pau Gasol.

 Still in Barcelona, #Melo and #TeamUSA rolled over Spain, 100-78, in a re-match of the gold-medal game (#Beijing2008Olympics) and the final exhibition before the #official games begin in the #London2012Olympics on Friday! #Melo scored 23 of his 27 points in the first half, hit five tre’s, and dominated #Spain #NBA Pau Gasol and Serge Ibaka in the paint! #KingJames got 25 points and Kevin Durant added 13 points for #TeamUSA! Pau Gasol ended up with 19 points and #Ibaka added 16 points for #Spain! #Ibaka is a native of the Republic of Congo (Central Africa), but became a Spanish national last year! The NY Knicks #officially signed PG Pablo Prigioni, 35, to an undisclosed one-year deal! Prigioni is currently playing on #Argentina team in the #London2012Olympics!

C.J. Watson was introduced as the newest Brooklyn Net, yesterday.

 “I always thought Deron was the best point guard in the league,” Watson said yesterday during his introductory press conference at the Nets’ practice  facility. “When everyone asks me who is the toughest point guard, I always say him.

“Between him and D-Rose, it’s pick your poison.”

“They went out of their way to try and sway me, and no one else really did that,” Watson said. “I think that was really the deciding factor.

“When they called and I thought about it and saw, with them getting Joe Johnson, I think that was the main factor in me deciding to come here.” – nypost
