NL dominates All-Star Game!

@SportsBata ..nuff said

The National League “won one for the Chipper”, and dominated the AL, 8-0, in the 83rd #MLB All-Star Game at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri last night! The NL has won the last three All-Star games, and once again proclaims homefield advantage in the #WorldSeries! Check out the All-Star game photo gallery!

The SF Giants had three stars in the game: NL starting pitcher Matt Cain got the W, CF Melky Cabrera (pic above) got the #MVP trophy for hitting a two-run HR and scoring two runs, and 3B Pablo Sandoval got the first bases-loaded (three-RBI) triple in All-Star game history!

Chipper Jones gave a spirited speech before his last All-Star game, hence “Win one for the Chipper”.

La Russa asked Jones to address the team before the game and the Atlanta third baseman told players: ”Whether you’re 19 or 40, we are all equals here.”

”I am not going out losing my last one. So, you with me?” he added.

Said La Russa: ”I thought Chipper set the tone.” – foxsports

Braves’ DH Chipper Jones gave a spirited speech before the game, and got a hit in his last (at-bat) All-Star game! NL Manager Tony LaRussa came out of retirement to manage the NL All-Star squad to victory!

For the Yankees, #Jeter single in the first inning passed Mickey Mantle for most All-Star hits (11) in Yankees history, and #Cano wasn’t too pleased about the (KC) fans yelling at his family during the All-Star game!
