YONAS drops latest mixtape #TheTransition today

The wait is finally over.  YONAS, the Bronx born lyricist has finally dropped his magnum opus “The Transition”.  Aptly named, this mixtape is stylistically different then his last complete work, “The Proven Theory“.  Finding inspiration in both Electro and Top 40 music, YONAS has take it upon himself to define his role and delineate from the misconception that he’s a Christian rapper. His collaborations are both pragmatic and impressive, enlisting Rhymesayer’s Brother Ali and Young Sinatra himself Logic.

True to form YONAS continues to surpass his peers in lyrical swordsmanship, effortlessly slicing through the competition with lyrics like “This is not Mac Miller, this is that much iller/ R.I.P. hipsters, I’m a backpack killer.”

This could be the year that YONAS make “The Transition” from underground phenom to mainstream success story.
