#Jeter passes Tony Gwynn on hits list! Andy Pettitte returns!

@SportsBata ..nuff said

Yankees’ Derek Jeter tied (Padres legend Tony) Gwynn on Saturday (3,141 hits), and passed him on Sunday on the all-time Hits list! #Jeter went 1-4 with a single and a strike-out. On Sunday, MLB celebrated Mother’s Day with pink colored bats and cleats!

Yankees legendary pitcher Andy Pettitte returned to the mound on Sunday and lost his opener to the Seattle Mariners 6-2! He gave up four earned runs on two two-run HR’s in 6 1/3 innings pitched. #Pettitte pitched solid, and if the Yankees got hits and scored runs, the game could have easily been won by #Pettitte. #Pettitte retired last season, and unretired this season to give it one more shot at a(nother) Championship!
