In a month where Maybach Music Group own Meek Mill went from celebrating his birthday at Perfections with Hot97/Heavy Hitter DJ Enuff and surprise appearance by Rihanna to “The Boss” Rick Ross buying him a new Black 2012 Ranger Rover. Meek Mill dropped his DreamChasers 2 mixtape this past Tuesday on DatPiff.com which has a major 2.6M download in it’s first week so far. With features from Drake, Big Sean, Kendrick Lamar, Fabolous, French Montana, Trey Songz, 2 Chainz, Mac Miller and his MMG Family Rick Ross & Wale, the mixtape surely brings some heat. We heard DJ Enuff drop that exclusive heat with Meek Mill & Big Sean “Burn” earlier this month just to set the tone of how the mixtape carried itself.

Besides of all this, it seems like May is a month that keeps on giving for Meek Mill because with a interview done with Life+Times.com, Meek Mill reveals that he has follow his fellow MMG member Wale by signing with Roc Nation Management. “That’s the new deal I put together. Me coming up in this rap game, I was always an underground artist coming up by myself and making all of the moves by myself. And my manager – he’s just like me, we’ve been coming up in the streets by ourselves. So we just decided to partner up with Roc Nation and take things to another level.” What a level it is in deed, especially with the highly anticipated “Dreams & Nightmares” looking to be released this year. Meek Mill plans to stick to his successful formula by working with his familiar producers. “I think I’m going to be working with some of the same producers like Jahlil Beats, Cardiak, All Star, Key Wayne, Young Jerz, and those type of guys. They’ve been presenting me with new music.” In the continuing of his interview with Life+Times, he did hint at working with Just Blaze, Pharrell “and those types of guys.”
