Hines Ward retires

@SportsBata ..nuff said

“I can say I’m a Steeler for life and that’s the bottom line, that’s all I’ve really ever wanted,” Ward said.

“Thank you [Mr. Rooney] for giving a small-town boy from Forest Park, Ga., a chance,” Ward said.

“I want my legacy here to say, you know what he was one hell of a football player who gave it his all,” Ward said. “I’m truly blessed. I played in three Super Bowls, won two Super Bowls, was Super Bowl MVP … what more could a player want out of his entire football career?” – espn

Pittsburgh Steelers WR, Hines Ward, announced his retirement from the #NFL, yesterday! It is an end of an era for the Steelers! He feels he still got more game in him, but the Steelers released him, and he does not want to play anywhere else. Ward, 36, was a 14-year veteran, two-time Super Bowl Champion, and eighth player ever to catch 1,000 passes in his career! He is only the second player in #NFL history to get 1,000 receptions and two rings! Ward is better known for his intense blocking, and hard hits he delivered over his career. Bengals S Chris Crocker dialed in on Wards’ hard hits! Check out the videos below!
