I can’t watch the game like this! Damn you @TheRealTahiry
#Knicks newbie J.R. Smith was fined $25K by the #NBA for posting an explicit pic of model, Tahiry Jose, on Thursday night! He, same as many, thought the picture was innocent enuff, and meant it to be funny more than lewd. The #NBA has to look at it from all facets; especially considering the fanbase of the #NBA is largely composed of kids, parents, and women. J.S. Smith did apologize, and remove the explicit pic on Friday before the Bucks game. Check out the twitpic and twitpost above, and his apology below!
The league explained that the fine was “for posting inappropriate pictures on his Twitter account.”
Prior to the fine being announced, Smith had apologized Friday in Milwaukee, saying, “I didn’t know it would turn into a big deal. I definitely regret it. Whenever it takes away from our team, I regret it. It wasn’t the smartest move.” – nypost
