Cowboys vs. Giants New Years Day Win-or-Go Home game

@SportsBata ..nuff said

The battle for the NFC East (and playoff spot) comes down to one game: Cowboys vs. Giants New Years Day win-or-go home game! The Giants barely beat the Cowboys in Week 14, 37-34, with a miraculous fourth quarter comeback (down 12 points with five minutes left), and a blocked FG to seal the deal! The Giants also devastated the NY Jets last week (Week 16), 29-14, and left the Jets scrambling for any playoff spot! Good news for the Giants D Osi Umeniyora and WR Hakeem Nicks will be playing after coming off injuries. Justin Tuck (pic above), D Jason Pierre-Paul, and QB Eli Manning will have to rile up the home crowd! Tickets for the Metlife Stadium New Years Day win-or-go home game have sold as high as $5K! Now the Giants must show NFC East dominance, and match wits with the Cowboys once again! Check out Giants LB Mathias Kiwanuka comments, and Cowboys QB Tony Romo “became an overnight Giants fan” comments below!

TV Coverage: Dallas Cowboys (8-7) vs. NY Giants (8-7) Sunday Jan 1 8:30PM EST NBC

“If we play a complete game from beginning to end, we’ll pitch a shutout, which is what our goal is,” the linebacker Kiwanuka said. “The issue about miscommunication for missed gaps, gaps assignments, that kind of stuff — this is the most important game on the schedule, so those kind of things are being taken care of right now.”

“I think when you watch the tape, they are playing really good football,” Dallas quarterback Tony Romo said. “We caught a break one time when they had a miscommunication. … They are a good group, so you have to be ready for them to come out and play their best game. I expect for them to come out and play tight man coverage and come after us. That is what our game plan is, to be ready for that.” – espn
