“He saved the season,” A-Rod said of Granderson. “Not once, but twice.” – espn

All the Yankees were getting hits, Curtis Granderson made two spectacular grabs to save four runs, and the Yankees delivered for game 4, last night! The Yankees took a 10-1 victory over the Detroit Tigers, to even the ALDS series at 2-2, and force a Game 5! Yankees pitcher A.J. Burnett pitched well, only giving up one run in 5 2/3 innings pitched. Granderson grabbed a ball in the first inning to save at least three runs (bases loaded), and one (pic above, video below) in the sixth inning to save at least one run! Derek Jeter put the Yankees on the board early with a two-RBI double, and Granderson added to that with an RBI-double! The rest of the Yankees squad lit up the eighth inning with six runs! On to the next one..

Game 5 ALDS: Detroit Tigers at NY Yankees, Thursday October 6, 8:37PM EST TBS!!! Ivan Nova (16-4, 3.70 ERA) will be pitching for the Yankees against Doug Fister (11-13, 2.83 ERA)!!! He continued Game 1 of this series for his first ever post-season victory! Nova (pic above) is in strong contention for Rookie of the Year!
