Giants soar, Jets collapse!

@SportsBata ..nuff said

The NY Giants soared above the ‘Dream Team’ Philadelphia Eagles, and the NY Jets collapsed against the Oakland Raiders! Check out the Full NFL Scoreboard!

The NY Giants beat the Philadelphia Eagles 29-16, yesterday! Giants QB Eli Manning threw four TD’s with 254 yards passsing! He hit up RB Ahmad Bradshaw and RB Brandon Jacobs on screen passes for long TD’s! Eli connected with WR Julio Cruz on three catches for 110 yards and two TD’s! Eagles QB Michael Vick was knocked out with a broken hand (non-throwing hand) late in the game. Vick wasn’t happy about not getting any roughing the QB calls! Check it out!

“I’m conscious of my safety,” said Vick after his team dropped to 1-2. “I want to play the game and protect myself at all times, even though I sometimes can’t. I trust my offensive linemen and I want to stay healthy for my team. I just got to do more. It’s something I’m not doing right.”

Referee Jeff Triplette helped Vick off the turf, but he didn’t throw a flag.

“Everybody has seen the game,” Vick said “I’m on the ground constantly. All the time. Every time I throw the ball I’m on the ground. I get hit in the head. I don’t know why I don’t get the 15-yard flags like everybody else does.

“I’m not blaming the referees by any stretch. Let’s not get it twisted here. I’m just saying everybody on the field should do their job.” – foxsports

The NY Jets lost to the Oakland Raiders 34-24, yesterday! The Jets were up 17-7, until the Raiders tied the game at 17-17 just before halftime. The Raiders scored a TD at the end of the third quarter, and right at the beginning of the fourth quarter to go up 31-17! The Jets came back, but it was a little too late. Raiders RB Darren McFadden was on fire running for 171 yards and two TD’s! Jets QB Mark Sanchez posted a career-high 369 yards: passing for two TD’s, rushing for one TD, and throwing one interception. Jets RB Ladanian Tomlinson caught five passes for 116 yards and one TD. Jets WR Plaxico Burress had a spectacular TD catch in fourth quarter to try to bring the Jets back, and caught three passes for 55 yards.
