Not Enough Time to Exercise?
For a sedentary individual, some exercise is better than no exercise. Even just a little.
According to the Huffington Post, thousands of people just aren’t exercising at all. They were asked, “If you do not exercise regularly, what is the main reason why?”
The Normal Bar interactive survey revealed that the No. 1 reason people don’t exercise is that they don’t have the time to. “Seventeen percent of 22,000 people said they were too tired and more than 30 percent said they just they didn’t have time.”
Well a new study reveals that even 15 minutes a day of exercise can add three years to your life.
“The study found that those who exercised just 15 minutes a day – or 90 minutes a week – cut their risk of death by 14 percent and extended their life expectancy by three years compared with those who did no exercise. Both men and women benefited equally from the minimum activity….Each additional 15 minutes of exercise reduced the risk of death by another 4 percent compared with the inactive group.”
This is something to consider. Especially since the majority of people who have no time to exercise, spend that same time surfing them web aimlessly or watching tv. Our goal is to just be less lazy. Taking a walk somewhere is the first step towards being healthier. @SelenaBailey
