The Fit Life w/ SelenaBailey: Andre Harrell

On Episode #2 of “The Fit Life w/ SelenaBailey: Celebrity Workout Series,” Selena chatted and moved with world renowned music icon, Andre Harrell. If the name Andre Harrell is unfamiliar to you, some of his work should ring a loud bell. He was the founder of Uptown Records in 1986 and later became the CEO of Motown Records in 1996.

His roster at Uptown Records included, Guy, Heavy D, Al B. Sure, Monifah, Horace Brown, Soul for Real, Jodeci and the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul herself, Mary J. Blige.

The ’90s was such a good time for music.

Now Andre Harrell serves as the founder of his new music label, Harrell Records, distributed through Atantic and he is the host of Champagne & Bubbles on WRKS 98.7 KissFM in New York.

Selena and Andre talk about music in a state of emergency, how image played a role in his career, and what he’s up to now, as he rides his bike through NYC, taking it all in.       @SelenaBailey
