Former NBA player brings loaded gun to airport
Former NBA player, Darius Miles, brought a loaded gun to Lambert-St Louis International Airport, and attempted to board a plane. Around 3:30PM ET, Wednesday afternoon, Miles, 29, was held after a scanner showed that a loaded weapon was on his possession (not clear on him or in luggage). He was booked on Wednesday evening on suspicion of unlawful use of a weapon. He last played in the NBA for the Memphis Grizzlies in 2009, was cut from the Charlotte Bobcats in 2010. He was #3 overall pick in the 2000 NBA Draft (LA Clippers) straight out of East St. Louis high school. He averaged 10.1 ppg, and 4.9 rpg inconsistently with five teams: LA Clippers, Cleveland Cavaliers, Portland Trailblazers and Memphis Grizzlies.
