Amar’e to China, D-Will to Turkey

NY Knicks Amar’e Stoudemire might join Kobe in China, and NJ Nets D-Will will most likely join the Turkish league. The NY Daily News reported earlier this week, that Amar’e might be joining Kobe and other NBA stars to represent China next season. According to information released today, NJ Nets Deron Williams AKA D-Will has struck an agreement with Turkish club Besiktas. Besiktas is the same team that drafted Allen Iverson for a short stint last season. Amar’e and D-Will both need these countries to insure their contracts (in case of injury), and as players under contract need permission from F.I.B.A. before they can play overseas. They will only play if the current NBA Lock-out goes into the regular season.
