Cee-Lo Drops Rihanna’s “Loud” Tour
Cee-Lo has announced that he would not be able to hit the road for the remainder of summer tour due to scheduling conflicts with the second season of “The Voice,” a book he plans to write, as well as two new albums that he plans to record.
These include the highly anticipated Goodie Mob reunion project and the third Gnarls Barkley album. He announced that he did not want his schedule to affect his performances on the tour had he stayed on as an opener.
A spokesperson for Cee-Lo said: “He always puts 100 percent into his work and with the requirements and time commitment to ‘The Voice,’ on top of heading back into the recording studio and an upcoming book. He feels that he wouldn’t give his fans the show that they deserve.” Cee-Lo Green’s The Lady Killer is in stores now and “The Voice” currently airs on Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. on NBC.
