As the 2011 NBA Draft quickly approachs, potential trades and mock drafts are switching pages everywhere! The NBA Draft is Thursday, June 23 7PM EST ESPN! It is presented by Kia and will take place at Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.

Possible Trades: Yahoo sports reports, the San Antonio Spurs are considering trading PG Tony Parker for top picks in the draft. They are talking to the Toronto Raptors and the Sacramento Kings, who hold the fifth and seventh picks respectively.

The Phoenix Suns are liking the Minnesota Timberwolves potential #2 pick, Arizona F Derrick Williams. Sources say that the Suns have been in talks about a possible trade for veteran PG Steve Nash.

The NY Knicks are looking at the 17th pick in the 2011 NBA Draft. They have had Bismark Bayonne, a young athletic 6-9 center from Congo, and Jimmer Fredette, lights out shooting guard from BYU, in private work-outs in recent weeks. They may respectively pick Bayonne as he may slide right into the 17th spot, but rumor has it that they may trade up with the Raptors and Kings, 5 and 7 respectively, if a good deal is struck in time.

Mock Draft: The buzz picks in this draft include: Duke Kyrie Irving, Arizona Derrick Williams, Kentucky Brandon Knight, Connecticut Kemba Walker, Kentucky (Turkey) Enes Kantor, and BYU Jimmer Fredette. Kyrie Irving although he played a shortened season, is a very reliable quick guard who makes the players around him better. Derrick Williams is strong forward who will be an instant success small forward in the NBA. Brandon Knight is old reliable, team leader for Kentucky, Enes Kantor has gotten solid reviews with his athleticism for a center.
