The Heat with Dwyane Wade leading the pack survived the Mav’s late attack, last night! The #2 Miami Heat moved ahead (2-1) in the NBA Finals series with the 88-86 win over the #3 Dallas Mavericks, last night! Chris Bosh sank the winning bucket leaving 39.6 seconds on the clock. Great D down the wire was the difference forcing Mav’s Dirk Nowitzki (pic below) into a bad look with only 4.4 seconds on the clock. Wade was the scorer, Lebron (James) was the passer, and Bosh was the spot-up. Wade scored 29 points on 12-21 shooting plus 11 boards, Lebron had 17 points and nine assists, and Bosh added 18 points. Mario Chalmers was a positive addition to the Heat hitting 4-6 threes for 12 points. Nowitzki was a force for the Mav’s with 34 points on 11-21 shooting with 11 boards and three blocks. Jason Kidd had 10 assists and six boards, but only nine points on 3-8 shooting. J.J. Barea was 2-8 from the field and Shawn Marion was 4-12 with only 10 points.
