Mav’s post an amazing comeback!
The #3 Dallas Mavericks posted an amazing 15 point comeback with only five minutes left on the #4 Oklahoma City Thunder to win in OT 112-105, last night! Dirk Nowitzki dropped 40 points (12-20 shooting) and Jason Kidd hit the go-ahead three with 40 seconds left in OT. The Mav’s are now ahead (3-1) in the Western Conference Final Series, and the Thunder are looking down-and-out. The Mav’s were huge on D, forced 25 TO’s, and Jason Kidd, Shawn Marion, and Jason Terry each got four steals apiece. Kidd also added 17 points, seven assists and five boards, and Terry added 20 points. Marion also helped get the game to OT by blocking Durant in the last ticks of regulation. Thunder Kevin Durant did have 29 points and 15 boards, but on 9-22 shooting and nine TO’s. Serge Ibaka showed up for the Thunder with 18 points, 10 boards, and five blocks. Thunder Thado Sefolosha even tried some voodoo on Nowitzki after he hit another jumper to tie the game in regulation. Watch the highlight reel right here!
